My Instagram was disabled and nobody will tell me why.

I'm Bee Clarke. I run @irishtradesman, an Irish LGBTQ+ account built around tradie culture, body positivity, and a bit of craic. On 24 May 2026 Instagram disabled the account for breaking "Community Standards." That's all I've been told. No specific rule. No specific post.

Why I put this site up

This domain used to forward somewhere else. I've turned it into my proper web presence, somewhere anyone reviewing my case can see who I actually am and what actually happened.

I'm not a bot or a spam account. I'm a real person in Ireland who built a community around positive content. The full timeline, the actual post photos Instagram took down, screenshots, and everything Meta has sent me are on the case page.

My Facebook was linked to this Instagram account for cross-posting. Nearly everything Instagram removed is still live there, and the Facebook itself is still up and running. From what I understand, when Meta disables an account like this they usually take down the linked Facebook too. That didn't happen. Same company, same posts, different outcome. That doesn't make sense to me.

To Instagram / Meta support,

I'm writing to ask you to restore @irishtradesman. I'm Bee Clarke, the account holder, and I'm happy to verify that however you need.

You cited Community Standards but haven't told me which standard or which content caused the disable. The app also says I can't request another review. I've nowhere left to go inside the platform, which is why I've escalated to the Irish DPC and the Appeals Centre.

My posts were clothed. Workwear, hi-vis, casual outfits, body positivity and tradie lifestyle, not nudity. I've documented everything at irishtradesman.ie/appeal if you want to look.
